Since the concept of reverse osmosis was proposed in the 1950s, its application has become increasingly widespread.     The global development of ultrapure water systems can be roughly divided into the following three stages:


    Stage 1: Using distilled water as the feed water, coupled with an ultrapure purification unit. The disadvantages are that the distiller consumes a lot of water and electricity; a machine producing 10L/H can cost nearly 10,000 yuan in water and electricity bills annually. In addition to the financial and human resources investment, there is also the safety hazard of water shortage and explosion. The water obtained from the distiller also suffers from problems such as low water quality and unstable water quality.


    Stage 2: Using tap water as the feed water, employing reverse osmosis purification units and ultrapure purification units, with some monitoring. The disadvantages are that unstable raw water quality can easily lead to unstable effluent quality, increasing the wear and tear on the purification unit. The inorganic combination of the unit components can also easily lead to the growth of biofilms and bacteria within the water system, increasing the risk of contamination.


    The third stage: Using tap water as the feed water, it features a complete pretreatment unit, reverse osmosis unit, and ultrapure water unit, coupled with comprehensive and complete water quality monitoring records, integrating all unit modules into a unified whole.


    Advantages: Provides an operating system that meets international water quality standards for quality control, quality assurance, and trend monitoring. Effectively reduces the chance of microbial contamination.
