1. Every 15-30 days of use, the sand filter and carbon filter should be backwashed to remove impurities from the sand and carbon layers, improving filtration efficiency. The softener primarily reduces water hardness through ion exchange; therefore, as usage time increases, the softening capacity of the cation exchange resin gradually decreases, requiring regeneration with NaCl.

2. The precision filter is a crucial component before the reverse osmosis membrane. Typically, pressure gauges are installed before and after the precision filter. A pressure difference between 0.7 and 1 indicates the filter element is clogged, and the PP filter element should be replaced promptly.

3. The reverse osmosis membrane, as a vital component of the entire system, requires even more careful maintenance. The reverse osmosis system should be designed with an automatic flushing function. During flushing, the pressure should not exceed 3 kg, and the flow rate should be relatively fast to remove contaminants from the membrane surface. 4.
