Mineral water production line equipment is now widely used in water treatment equipment. Users have high requirements for the quality and safety of mineral water. Although a bottle or a drop of drinking water may seem insignificant in daily life, there is much to consider in the production process. Below are the basic details of mineral water production line equipment for your reference.
1. Production Process Flow of Mineral Water Production Line Equipment
Raw Water Tank → Raw Water Pump → Fine Sand Filter → Activated Carbon Adsorber → Precision Filter → Ultrafiltration Device → Ultraviolet Sterilizer → Pure Water Tank → Bottling Equipment. Among these, the ultrafiltration (UF) device is a key piece of equipment in mineral water production equipment. Right-tube ultrafiltration and spiral wound ultrafiltration devices are now widely used in mineral water production equipment. The mineral water production line equipment utilizes hollow fiber ultrafiltration membranes and devices made of polysulfone, polyacrylonitrile, and other polymer materials. The products feature a compact structure and rational design, incorporating water production, backwashing, and chemical cleaning processes. Operation is simple and convenient, with safe and reliable operation, high water production rate, resistance to fouling, and low degradation. It effectively removes suspended solids, particles, colloids, bacteria, pyrogens, and large organic molecules from water. Similar to reverse osmosis, it is a pressure-driven membrane separation technology. In the separation range spectrum from reverse osmosis to electrofiltration, it lies between nanofiltration (NF) and microfiltration (MF), with a molecular weight cutoff range of 50-500,000 Daltons, corresponding to an approximate membrane pore size of 50-1000 Å.
The mineral water production line equipment uses the pressure difference across the membrane as the driving force, based on the principle of mechanical sieving, for solution separation. The operating pressure is typically 0.2 MPa-0.6 MPa, with a separation pore size of 1 nm-0.1 μm. It can be widely used for the separation, concentration, and purification of substances. Ultrafiltration involves no phase transformation, operates at room temperature, and is particularly suitable for separating heat-sensitive substances. It also exhibits excellent resistance to temperature, acids, alkalis, and oxidation, and can be used continuously for extended periods below 60℃ at pH 2-11.
Ultrafiltration (UF) equipment is a key component of mineral water production lines. Right-hand tubular and spiral wound ultrafiltration units are now widely used in these lines.
Tubular ultrafiltration units offer good flow characteristics, are less prone to clogging, and are easy to clean. They are suitable for applications such as electrophoretic paint recovery, fruit juice concentration, silica sol production, and oil-water separation.
2. Features of Mineral Water Production Line Equipment
1) Large membrane area.
2) Compact structure.
3) Simple installation and maintenance.
4) Small footprint.
5) Lower energy consumption compared to other ultrafiltration units, but requires higher pretreatment standards than tubular ultrafiltration units.
