Precautions for Filling Finely Mixed Resin

1. The polishing resin is a mixture of hydrogen-form strong acidic cation exchange resin and hydroxide-form strong basic anion exchange resin.

2. During operation, if water needs to be added for easier filling, please ensure that only pure water is used. The water content should not be excessive. Furthermore, the water must be immediately removed or drained after the resin enters the resin tank to prevent resin stratification.

3. If filling the resin by hand, please ensure your hands are thoroughly cleaned and that no grease is introduced into the resin tank.

4. When changing resin, the tank and water collector must be thoroughly cleaned. No old resin residue should remain at the bottom of the tank, otherwise, this used resin will contaminate the water.

5. The O-rings and pressure vessels used must be replaced regularly. Each time resin is changed, the relevant components must be inspected. If any damage is found, it must be replaced immediately. Inspect the water collector; if any blockage is found, it should be cleared.

6. When using an FRP tank as a resin bed, the water collection pipe should be placed in the tank before filling with resin. 7. During resin filling, the water collection pipe should be shaken periodically. This allows for final adjustment of the pipe's position and installation of the top cover.

8. If resin is filled first, inserting the water collection pipe will be difficult. If it is absolutely necessary to fill the resin before inserting the pipe, the resin-filled FRP tank can be placed horizontally on the ground, and the tank can be slowly rolled to loosen the resin before gently inserting the water collection pipe.

9. After resin filling and pipe connection, the vent at the top of the tank should be opened first, and water should be slowly introduced until water overflows from the vent and no more air bubbles are produced. Then, the vent should be tightly closed, and water collection can begin.
