Many ultrapure water systems use tap water as their source. What precautions should you take when using them? Below, UPU technical engineers will explain in detail:
1. Tap water quality must meet the requirements of the "Standards for Domestic Water Use";
2. Tap water supply pressure should be between 0.2 and 0.4 MPa;
3. Tap water temperature should be between 5 and 30℃;
4. An activated carbon filter must be installed in the pretreatment stage of the ultrapure water system;
5. If the tap water hardness is greater than 200 PPM, a water softener must be installed;
6. If the tap water has a high iron or manganese content, a manganese sand filter must be installed.
UPU's ultrapure water systems that use tap water as their source include: UPU UPT ultrapure water system, UPU UPK ultrapure water system, UPU ULUP ultrapure water system, and UPU UPH ultrapure water system. Most of these systems produce Grade I and Grade III (distilled water) water, which meets the needs of laboratory water use, and the water quality is stable. Customers can choose the laboratory ultrapure water system model according to their own needs.
