28,726 Industry Standards Under Review; These Instrumental Analysis Standards Will Be Abolished

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released an announcement regarding the review results of 28,726 recommended industry standards. Among them, 20,466 industry standards, including the "Technical Specification for Pressurized Sealing," remain valid; 5,511 industry standards, including the "Technical Specification for Construction of Thermal Insulation Engineering of Magnesium Steel Products," are revised; and 2,749 industry standards, including the "Design Regulations for Chemical Steam Systems," are repealed from the date of this announcement.

A rough count shows that the 28,726 reviewed industry standards include nearly a thousand instrumental analysis standards. Among them, 185 instrumental standards, including "Determination of Aluminum Content in Silicon-Calcium Alloys by Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry," are revised; and 79 instrumental standards, including "Determination of Trace Hydrogen, Oxygen, Methane, and Carbon Monoxide in Inert Gases by Zirconia Detector Gas Chromatography," are planned to be repealed.
