Only Through Honest Cooperation Can the Instrumentation Industry Develop Healthily

Currently, new technologies, concepts, and models are emerging continuously, accelerating the development and upgrading of my country's instrumentation industry. It can be said that the era of big data is affecting everyone and opening up limitless possibilities for enterprise development.

The 21st century is the era of big data. In this era, transparency, openness, and comprehensiveness of information are its defining characteristics. Breaking down information barriers and the arrival of the data age have made the power of role models more compelling than ever before, and have also led to the rapid exposure of illegal activities such as defaulting on debts in major media outlets, causing a public outcry!

Extending this to the instrumentation industry, there is zero tolerance for dishonest behavior. The instrumentation industry is a fundamental sector of national economic construction, influencing the development of all industries. The wide scope, strong influence, and special status of the instrumentation industry determine its importance.

Details determine success or failure; the standardization of the instrumentation industry should permeate every stage of its development. Honest production and scientific management should guide every step of the industry's progress. Applications for major scientific research instrument projects, national key R&D programs, and National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, as well as various honors such as National Technological Innovation Demonstration Enterprises and Science and Technology-based SMEs, all require the submission of truthful and accurate written materials to prevent the unhealthy practice of falsification.

From the perspective of enterprise development, the first priority is integrity towards oneself and one's employees. Internal factors are the main determinants of development. For a company, adhering to its development philosophy and fully stimulating employee innovation will bring about a qualitative leap in its development. Secondly, integrity towards customers is crucial. This includes not only service commitments made to users before and after product sales but also the company's stringent pursuit of product technology and quality and rigorous production standards. Thirdly, integrity towards partners and distributors is essential. As important partners in the market promotion of instrument brands, their contribution is no less significant than that of new products. After selecting strategic partners, effectively implementing relevant market cooperation and establishing a sustainable and healthy cooperative relationship requires openness, honest cooperation, and resistance to the temptation of competing interests.

Of course, besides corporate self-discipline, standardization, regulation, and legalization within the instrumentation industry are all powerful factors promoting corporate integrity. Recently, 38 departments, including the State Intellectual Property Office, jointly signed a "Memorandum of Cooperation on Joint Punishment of Seriously Dishonest Entities in the Intellectual Property (Patent) Field." The Memorandum targets those who commit serious acts of dishonesty in the intellectual property (patent) field.

Six types of serious acts of dishonesty in the intellectual property (patent) field, once verified, will be subject to severe joint punishment by national government departments, including disqualification from intellectual property authorization; removal from the list of national intellectual property demonstration enterprises; and ineligibility for preferential measures such as patent fee reductions and priority examination during patent applications. Furthermore, the Memorandum clarifies that joint punishment of seriously dishonest entities in the intellectual property (patent) field will be implemented by the end of December.

Serious acts of dishonesty in the intellectual property (patent) field will be severely punished by the state, and the instrumentation industry will also be subject to these constraints. In the future, more acts of dishonesty in the instrumentation industry will be subject to joint disciplinary action. Any breach of trust can be a fatal blow to a company's future development. "Do not do evil even if it is insignificant." Every step of an instrumentation company's development should be based on integrity, sincerity, and science, and it must say "no" to any unethical practices.
