An ultrapure water system filters out suspended solids, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, and other contaminants from water. It employs advanced filtration technology: the first stage is a PP cotton filter; the second and third stages are activated carbon + activated carbon or activated carbon + PP cotton; the fourth stage is an RO reverse osmosis membrane; and the fifth stage is a precision filter.

Activated Carbon Filter Cartridges
1. PE Filter Cartridge:
Pore sizes vary, but are generally around 0.1 microns. Function: Blocks visible impurities in water, such as red worms, sand, rust, and colloids. Lifespan: 1-2 months.
2. PP Melt-blown Filter Cartridge:
Pore sizes vary, but are generally around 5 microns. Function: Blocks impurities larger than 5 microns, as well as colloids, rust, and microorganisms in water. Lifespan: 3-6 months.
3. Ceramic Filter Cartridge:
Pore sizes are around 0.1 microns, slightly larger than ultrafiltration materials. Function: Filters out bacteria, pyrogens, microorganisms, and colloids in water, significantly reducing turbidity. Lifespan: 12-24 months.
4. Ultrafiltration Material Filter Cartridge:
Pore sizes are around 0.01 microns. Function: Filters out bacteria, pyrogens, microorganisms, and large organic molecules in water. Lifespan: Generally 12-24 months.
5. Activated Carbon Filter Cartridge:
Function: Adsorbs bleaching powder (chlorine), discoloration, and odors from water. Activated carbon filter cartridges are also subdivided into different types, with a lifespan ranging from 6 to 18 months.
6. RO Reverse Osmosis Membrane:
Pore size can reach 10⁻⁶ microns. Function: Filters out small molecule organic matter, bacteria, viruses, minerals, etc. from water. Lifespan depends on the pretreatment filter cartridge (PP filter cartridge, activated carbon filter cartridge) and the wastewater ratio, generally ranging from 18 to 36 months.
