The 2019 Ulupure Cup ''Welcoming the Spring Festival'' Go Tournament concluded successfully

From March 2nd to 10th, 2019, the "Welcoming the Spring Festival" Go Tournament, sponsored by Ulupure and organized by the Pidu District Go Association, was held in Pidu District. Nearly 40 amateur players of 3-5 dan rank from across the province competed in seven rounds over two weekends, with the top six players from each of Groups A and B advancing. The 12 winners will participate in the 2nd Ulupure Cup "Sichuan Go King Championship" in Pidu District.

Chairman Zhan Wei of Ulupure attended the tournament and delivered a passionate speech at the award ceremony. He stated that Ulupure is committed to promoting and disseminating traditional Chinese culture and actively contributing to the development of Go in Pidu District. He also warmly invited the players to participate in the "Sichuan Go King Championship" to be held at Ulupure headquarters in the second half of the year.

Tang Xiaohong, a 7-dan veteran chess master from Sichuan, personally served as the chief referee at the competition and enthusiastically guided the players in reviewing and analyzing their games, creating a strong atmosphere for chess exchange.
