Ulupure Ultrapure Water System Has Been Running Stably for 30 Months in the World's Highest Altitude Laboratory

With the widespread use of mobile phones, the importance of lithium carbonate, a key material used in mobile phone lithium batteries, has become increasingly prominent. Tibet Ali Zabuye Mining Company, the largest lithium carbonate supplier in China, decided to build a chemical analysis laboratory at its production base in the Zabuye Salt Lake mining area of Ali Prefecture. This required the purchase of an ultrapure water system capable of stable operation at an altitude of 3800 meters (the water source being high-mineralized, high-salinity groundwater). A procurement team composed of several engineers searched online for major domestic ultrapure water manufacturers and issued invitations to tender. It was delivered to the customer in Lhasa in June 2004 and has been operating stably and without failure for 30 months.
