Depending on the specific nature of water pollution, it is often necessary to measure anionic detergents, organophosphorus pesticides, organochlorine pesticides, benzene compounds, chlorobenzene compounds, benzo(a) pyrene, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), formaldehyde, trichloroacetaldehyde, aniline compounds, and nitrobenzene compounds. Except for anionic detergents, these substances are all major priority environmental pollutants, and their monitoring methods primarily employ gas chromatography and spectrophotometry. For high molecular weight PAHs and benzo(a) pyrene, liquid chromatography or fluorescence spectrophotometry are used. For detailed information, please refer to relevant literature on water quality analysis.
