The Four Main Components of the U-Pure Ultrapure Water System

The UPU ultrapure water system mainly consists of four parts: a pretreatment system, a reverse osmosis system, a post-treatment section, and a water storage tank. Below, I will introduce the specific details of each part:

1. UPU Pretreatment System

(1) A PL polypropylene fiber filter cartridge with a progressive structure (loose on the outside, tight on the inside) effectively removes rust, sediment, etc.

(2) A high-efficiency columnar activated carbon filter cartridge with a carbon content of up to 80% efficiently adsorbs and filters residual chlorine, discoloration, organic matter, and other impurities in the source water.

2. UPU Reverse Osmosis System (Reverse Osmosis Technology)

(1) Reverse osmosis system and storage tank, etc. The RO membrane used for reverse osmosis (all are original imports from the USA).

3. UPU Ultrapure Water System Components

(1) Online monitoring of pure water, ultrapure water, and effluent water quality.

(2) Uses imported high-purity water-specific atomic-level ion exchange resin, with an effluent resistivity of up to 18.25 MΩ·cm, ensuring stable and reliable water quality. (3) Each purification column has a water sample port to ensure immediate access.

(4) Terminal ultrafiltration ensures the removal of bacteria, etc.

(5) The manual rinsing function of the terminal ultrafiltration extends the ultrafiltration time.

4. UPLG Sterile Water Tank

The Taiwan-imported, separate pressure storage tank stores RO purified water, allowing for immediate access without waiting, thus improving laboratory efficiency (the UPLG ultrapure water system, which is paired with the biochemical analyzer, is equipped with a polyethylene water tank).
