Ultrapure Water System Solenoid Valve Malfunctions and Solutions

    Fault 1: Solenoid valve does not work when energized. Troubleshooting:


    1. Check for poor contact in the power cord – try rewiring and reconnecting the connectors;


    2. Check if the power supply voltage is within the operating range – adjust to the normal range;


    3. Check if the coil is detached from the solder – detached coils need to be re-soldered;


    4. Check if the coil is short-circuited – replace the coil immediately if short-circuited;


    5. Check if the operating pressure differential is inappropriate – adjust the pressure differential or replace with a suitable solenoid valve;


    6. Check if the water temperature is too high – replace with a suitable solenoid valve;


    7. Check if there are impurities in the water causing the main valve core and moving iron core of the solenoid valve to jam – first clean them, replace any damaged seals, and install a filter before the solenoid valve;


    8. Due to excessive usage frequency or reaching the lifespan limit of the solenoid valve – the product needs to be replaced.


    Fault 2: Solenoid Valve Cannot Close - Troubleshooting


    1. Damaged seals on the main valve core or moving iron core – Replace the seals;


    2. Water temperature or viscosity too high – Replace with a compatible solenoid valve;


    3. Impurities have entered the main valve core or moving iron core – Clean;


    4. Spring deformed or expired – Replace the product;


    5. Clogged throttling orifice or balance orifice – Clean promptly;


    6. Operating frequency too high or expired – Replace the product.


    Other Faults and Troubleshooting:


    1. Internal leakage: Check for damaged seals and improper spring assembly;


    2. External leakage: Loose connections or damaged seals – Reconnect or replace seals;


    3. Noise when powered on: Loose fasteners on the valve body – Tighten; Voltage fluctuations outside the allowable range – Adjust the voltage; Impurities or unevenness on the iron core contact surface – Clean or replace promptly.


    Solenoid valve malfunctions primarily stem from unclear descriptions of operating conditions, discrepancies between the working pressure differential and the actual pressure, or temperature inconsistencies.
