Water Quality Requirements for Entering the Electrodialysis Unit

The water quality entering the electrodialysis unit is subject to seven indicators as specified in the international standard "Electrodialysis Technology," as follows:

1. Water temperature: 5-40℃;

2. Oxygen consumption (potassium permanganate method): <3mg/L;

3. Free chlorine: <0.3mg/L;

4. Iron: <0.3mg/L;

5. Manganese: <0.1mg/L;

6. Turbidity: 1.5-2mm baffle <3mg/L; 0.5-0.9mm baffle <1mg/L;

7. Sludge density index (SDI) <3-5(ED); SDI <(EDR)
