On June 2nd, the first batch of certification and accreditation industry standard project review for 2017 was successfully completed in Beijing. Representatives from relevant departments of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China (CNCA), including the Accreditation Department, Certification Department, Registration Department, and Laboratory Department, as well as certification and accreditation associations, and more than 40 authoritative experts in the certification and accreditation industry participated in the review. Experts conducted a rigorous and scientific review of 164 certification and accreditation industry standard projects, with over 40 projects passing the review. The reviewed projects cover multiple fields such as mandatory product certification, service certification, organic certification, management system certification, qualification accreditation, and inspection and testing. Once established, these projects will provide strong technical support for upgrading quality management certification, improving the mandatory product certification system and implementation mechanism, and promoting the upgrading of the service industry. As of June 2017, the CNCA had issued 265 certification and accreditation industry standard development plans and published 69 certification and accreditation industry standards.
