On June 22, the Ministry of Agriculture officially issued the "National Action Plan to Curb Antimicrobial Resistance in Animal-Derived Bacteria," clarifying that from 2017 to 2020, a comprehensive four-tiered veterinary drug residue monitoring system at the national, provincial, municipal, and county levels will be established, and the standards for 272 limit indicators for 31 veterinary drugs and 63 veterinary drug residue detection methods will be finalized.
