The State Food and Drug Administration Is Once Again Soliciting Supplementary Testing Methods for ''Gutter Oil''

To severely crack down on illegal activities related to "gutter oil" and protect consumer health, the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) issued a notice on its website on June 16, again soliciting supplementary testing methods for "gutter oil."

This solicitation requires that all applicants' methods must have prior research foundation and have undergone laboratory validation or inter-laboratory comparison.

Interested organizations should complete the "Application Form for Supplementary Testing Methods for Food" (see attachment) and submit both an electronic version and three stamped hard copies by July 10, 2017. Please indicate "Application Materials for Supplementary Testing Methods for 'Gutter Oil'" on the mailed document.
