Manganese sand filter media is made from manganese ore through crushing and screening. It has a rough appearance and is brown or light gray in color. It is commonly used in iron and manganese removal filtration devices for drinking water, and its filtration effect is very good. (Note: MnO2 ≥ 35% can remove both iron and manganese; MnO2 ≤ 30% can only be used for iron removal from groundwater.)
