On June 28, 2021, Ulupure's inaugural apprenticeship ceremony was held in the grand conference hall on the fifth floor of its headquarters. The ceremony was presided over by Vice President Lu Gang, and attended by all employees of Ulupure Water Company and Sichuan Ulupure Company.
The first pairing of "masters and apprentices" included: Zeng Xiaojing (master) and Yang Xiaoli (apprentice) from the Engineering Center of Ulupure Water Company; Wu Bing (master) and Tang Ke (apprentice) from the Production Center of Sichuan Ulupure Company; Peng Weiwei (master) and Mei Deng (apprentice) from the Medical Pure Water Division; and Liu Xianfu (master) and Shi Cong (apprentice) from the Sales and Service Center.
During the ceremony, the "masters" sat upright and dignified in their chairs, while the "apprentices" stood respectfully before them, clasping hands in place of the traditional kowtow, symbolizing the eternal bond between master and apprentice.

Finally, Chairman Zhan Wei fondly recalled his experience of becoming a disciple of Go master Nie Weiping. He stated that human history has repeatedly proven that theoretical learning cannot replace the direct transmission of practical experience between people. Having a good teacher can save one from many detours and accelerate personal growth and development. From Go philosophy to business management, it demonstrates that the profound traditional culture still has many essences applicable to modern society. Our "mentor-apprentice system," which has formed four pairs of mentors and apprentices for the first time, is a landmark event in Ulupure's corporate culture development. As the "mentor-apprentice system" matures and continues to advance, more mentor-apprentice pairs will undoubtedly be formed within the company in the future, laying a solid foundation for the company's development.
