Working Principle of Iron and Manganese Removal Filters and Fluoride Removal Filters

Table of Content [Hide]

    Iron and Manganese Removal Filter

This filter removes iron and manganese from groundwater using an aeration oxidation method, oxidizing low-valence iron and manganese to higher-valence states. The treated water then undergoes manganese sand adsorption and filtration to meet the GB5749-85 drinking water standard. Its principle is shown in the diagram.

    Fluoride Removal Filter

This filter is designed for groundwater with a fluoride content not exceeding 10 mg/L. It effectively adsorbs fluoride and fluorides. When the defluorination capacity decreases, it can be regenerated to restore its original level. The goal is to achieve an effluent fluoride content of 1.0 mg/L, meeting drinking water standards.

    Technical Specifications

    • Raw water fluoride content less than 1.0 mg/L

    • Filtration rate 2.5 m/h

    • Operating pressure 0.3-0.35 MPa
