With the development and innovation of science and technology, a large number of emerging technologies, new processes, and new products have emerged in the socio-economic field. If a company excels in standardization and takes the lead in setting international and national standards, it is highly successful. For example, mobile phone brands Huawei and ZTE have achieved remarkable success in international standardization. However, many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) possess considerable innovation capabilities, but due to weak standardization awareness and a lack of standardization talent, they lag behind in the field.

As the saying goes, "He who controls the standards controls the world." For SMEs, securing a place in the industry requires the support of standardization and the cultivation of standardization technical personnel. Mobilizing the enthusiasm of domestic SMEs and even all industries to participate in national standardization construction, and seizing the initiative in the field of standardization through the application and formulation of standards, thereby gaining international influence, is particularly crucial.

To ensure that standards are further adapted to various sub-sectors of the instrument industry, keep pace with the times, adapt to the active adjustments in social production, and ultimately meet the latest needs of the entire society, further efforts are needed. Meanwhile, in accordance with the requirements of the "Work Plan for Centralized Review of Recommended Standards" and based on the review conclusions of national standards submitted by relevant industry departments and technical committees, the State Administration for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the Standardization Administration of China intend to abolish 815 national standards, including GB/T 8156.10-1987 "Determination of Sulfur Content in Industrial Aluminum Fluoride by X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry". Through relevant sorting, 208 of these standards are closely related to the instrument industry.
